Beau & Carolyn
As a photographer, I'm always looking for the perfect location to take photos that will capture the essence of my clients. So when my clients wanted to have their engagement photos captured at Princess Point, a beautiful park known for its long tall grasses that sway in the breeze I knew it’d be the perfect spot! However, when we arrived, we found that the park was undergoing some maintenance, and all of the beautiful grass had been cleared away. I was initially worried that this would impact our photoshoot, but with a little creativity and resourcefulness, we were able to capture some truly gorgeous photos that Beau & Carolyn will cherish for years to come.
One of the things I love most about being a photographer is the challenge of finding beauty in unexpected places. So when I saw that the grass had been cleared away, I immediately began to look for other spots that could serve as a backdrop for our photos. We found a few secluded spots with mini boardwalks that provided some beautiful framing.
Another thing I loved about this photoshoot was how well the couple worked together. They were clearly very comfortable with each other and had a lot of natural chemistry, which made my job a lot easier. We were able to capture some beautiful, candid moments between them that really showcased their love for each other.
I love how these photos turned out. While the lack of tall grass may have been initially disappointing, it ended up being a blessing in disguise, as it pushed us to get creative and find beauty in unexpected places. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with this lovely couple and wish them all the best for their upcoming wedding in July.
